For many collectors of Dutch earthenware in the Netherlands, but also abroad, is Old Dutch Pottery a well-known name. Dozens of years this site was managed by Mr. T. Duijnstee and he has transferred this new version to the undersigned per 1 January 2019.
I will do my very best to offer the same quality that belonged to this website. That is to say: in principle I will offer items of Dutch pottery with an excellent c.q. very good condition. Restorations or minor defects, worth mentioning, I will report.
The love for Dutch earthenware has been imparted to me from an early age and reinforced in a period of 12 years in which I have been employed in the largest Dutch art- and antique auction house. The result: a fanatical collector!
In addition, I am, after a four-years study, a licensed Interior Designer with the believe that many old dutch pottery products fit very well in the current trends of living. The often bright colours and forms of the faience of Gouda are very good to combine with the modern furniture of this period. The products of Delft and Makkum certainly fit more in a living in country-style. And what do you think of old stone bottles in combination with the Industrial Look of this moment?
As a result of being interested in many arts and antiques I will also bring other items to the site than you are accustomed to. I really hope I can count you in the future to my clientele, and, for your information: occasionally you will find me on E-bay.
